Rachel and Steve booked me to photograph their summer wedding day at the beautiful Abbots Court wedding venue in Dorset. They decided on the Beloved Wedding Photography Collection and chose to have a second photographer as well as an engagement shoot to get used to the camera before their big day! Their pre wedding beach shoot was a great way to get to know each other, for me to learn more about them as a couple and for them to practise having their photo taken. They then used their engagement shoot photos for save the date invites as well as printing some of their favourites to display on their wedding day!
We decided to have their engagement shoot at golden hour during September. The weather was perfect and Shell Bay Beach was so quiet! Throughout the photoshoot I gave simple direction and prompts for Rachel and Steve to do together. This enabled them to relax, have fun and connect with one another, taking their attention away from the camera and on to each other!
Rachel and Steve both love the outdoors and dancing. They first met when Rachel turned up at a Salsa dance class that Steve was teaching and they have never stopped dancing together since!
