Syon Park and Gardens is one of the most exclusive wedding venues in London. It displays extensive grounds with Syon House for the ceremony, a quaint courtyard for cocktail hour and an historic, ornate glasshouse for the wedding reception. Syon Park boasts elegance, character and luxury; a wedding photographers dream.
The courtyard at Syon Park is a wonderful intimate space for you to enjoy canapes and champagne during your cocktail hour. It’s a time where you can mingle with your guests and celebrate together. As a documentary wedding photographer I love to capture lots of candid moments during your drinks reception of you and your guests chatting and laughing together. It is also a time where I can orchestrate some lovely group photographs of your family and friends.
The Great Conservatory at Syon Park is spectacular. The intricate architecture and gardens, the light and airy interior and grand exotic plants creates the most unique space for a memorable wedding day. Syon Park makes the perfect back drop for your wedding couples portraits during golden hour. It’s important to take a quiet moment within your wedding day to spend time with each other. Enjoy a relaxed walk around the grounds and within the Great Conservatory whilst I capture some natural, timeless portraits of you both on your wedding day. As a wedding photographer who loves details, I loved the rustic neutral walls adorned with large cacti and greenery.
Syon Park’s glasshouse is also the perfect venue for your wedding breakfast, wedding speeches and evening party. The Grand Conservatory speaks for itself and doesn’t need a lot of additional wedding decor to wow your guests. Simple tables surrounded by the stone pillars and intricate archways creates a beautiful timeless and neutral wedding theme.
In the evening you and your wedding guests can party the night away to a live band or DJ. A disco ball reflected all over the Great Conservatory walls which really added to the party atmosphere during the first dance and wedding evening. Then to end the wedding day at Syon Park was the most stunning sunset. If you scroll to the bottom of this blog you see the most gorgeous golden light reflecting through the glasshouse roof. It looked so beautiful I had to quickly lie on the floor to capture it in its fullest!
