Syrencot House Wedding Photography

Syrencot House is a real hidden gem and one of my favourite luxury Wiltshire wedding venues to photograph. Let me tell you why!

This intimate country wedding venue is nestled within rolling hills and woodlands; a beautifully secluded and private setting. Syrencot has been specifically tailored for weddings. The impressive Georgian house offers gorgeous on site accommodation and a beautiful Bridal suite to get ready in. These light, spacious rooms are perfect for a peaceful wedding morning and of course gorgeous bridal prep photographs of you and your bridesmaids. The wedding prep space is the stunning billiard room, styled in classy and neutral ivory and finished to such a high standard, perfect for any wedding colour theme.

Wedding Ceremony

Then just a short walk into a walled garden is the glasshouse. This contemporary orangery is a wonderful backdrop for your romantic wedding ceremony, you can tie the knot either inside or outside of the orangery within the Syrencots garden. Should you wish to, the orangery is a perfect canvas for you to decorate and create something of your own.

Wedding Reception

After your vows you can enjoy your drinks, canapes and garden games with your guests in the walled garden. Surrounded by flowers and cobbled walls, this is a stunning location for your drinks reception, confetti shots and group photos. The wedding drinks reception is a great time of day to get lots of candid photos of guests. Capturing those genuine smiles, heartfelt glances and excited congratulations is what my job as a wedding photographer is all about! Little tip, make sure you have real petal confetti, and lots of it too!

Bride and Groom Portraits

At Syrencot House there are so many beautiful backdrops to choose from for couple portraits on your big day. This space is a wedding photographer’s dream! I love to capture a variety of different shots in a few different locations so my couples have a varied collection after their wedding day. Whilst your guests are socialising and enjoying their canapés and champagne, a 10 minute stroll together around the grounds to take a bit of ‘you time’ is all thats needed too capture those natural expressions and moments together that you will always treasure.

Wedding Breakfast

Your Syrencot wedding breakfast and evening party is held in the Farmshed, a purpose-built barn with its unique details, high timber ceilings and striking industrial style lighting. The stylish yet rustic décor is warm and welcoming whilst perfectly complementing the rural setting of this wedding venue. And then the most important factor, the food… Oh, my, goodness! I have been lucky enough to have eaten at Syrencot a couple of times now and the food never disappoints! The caterers are fantastic and the cuisine certainly has the wow factor.

First Dance

The wedding evening often starts with the cutting of the wedding cake, a great photo moment for wedding guests to get involved with and then straight into the first dance. Photographing you and your wedding guests dancing and enjoying yourselves is always great fun and with the statement lighting in the barn the photos always look great too! As well as the dance floor you can have a fire pit, a photobooth, glow sticks and of course, sparklers!
